Love affairs are passionate, messy and somewhat unpredictable

and it seems this Substack journey may well be too.

This is my love affair… meeting the mind and heart of yours.

It’s passionate, messy and somewhat unpredictable. Much like my relationships, friendships and creativity.

I keep trying to tether my thoughts to:

• I’m going to share ‘these kind of posts’ once a month

• Every first Tuesday of the month I’ll ask ‘these questions’

• I’ll keep ABC for free subscribers and XYZ for paid readers

It’s just not working, a flow state is where I work best. I have stacks of ideas of what I’m going to share, discuss and impart. I have about twenty headings in my drafts already of meaty, interesting topics some which have been bubbling round my head for years, and some which started to fuse just a few days ago.

And so, I’ve decided to allow things to evolve, not just in these first few posts but as a non-formatted format. After all, in the space of a year, say that’s what you sign up to… think of all the things that can happen and evolve. All the lessons that can be learnt, conversations started and continued, how life can unravel and planted seeds can bloom. Right here, in a love affair with light, is where I’m excited to share them.

My commitment starts with two juicy posts a week for paid members, and a fortnightly post for free subscribers. Beyond that I make no promises, just know that here we will talk about, embrace and enjoy pure unadulterated CREATIVE FREEDOM.

So buckle up, trust in the process, wind the window down and turn up the music. It’s going to be a ride.
