I’d love to hear how you are getting on with our first prompt ‘WINDOW LIGHT’.
Is there a specific look and feel when someone says window light? Is there a way you LOVE to capture window light?
Many imagine window light as the melting light which pours in just at the right time and gently soothes one side of your subject with a drop off into the darkness on the other.
And yet windows can create light which is dynamic and hard edged, it can shape and outline, it can tell incredible stories too. Yes side light is definitely part of that … however, there are also other ways too.
I thought I’d share some of my work over the years which may trigger thoughts along the way as you gaze at the window, through the window, from outside, within, below or above it too.
Next prompt and type of light dropping on 8th Feb (7th for some depending where you are in the world), are you ready?
