Pinboards have always been a thing for me. Reminders of people, threads of nostalgia, messages, stories, texture and colour have always been a necessary part of my environment. Ever since I was young I have held tight, heading off to boarding school at 11 and moving living space every term my pinboard became my constant. It shifted each time as I changed it, as my creative heart sought to cling to a different message or image but the feel was always the same.

Now at 46 it’s something that still brings me great joy. After our recent move I have reordered my board, this is how it looks today.
