We gear up, watch YouTube tutorials, seek out Masters in their craft, pay for course after course. We long to be somewhere more beautiful, more interesting, with more people to shoot street, or less to shoot landscape. We wait until Spring to shoot the blossom or Winter to shoot the snow capped mountains. We hunger for quick fixes but along the way we forget about the vital part which is looking back at us in the mirror all along.
